My Journey with GNBCC: Scaling New Heights through the Women In Business Program

My Journey with GNBCC: Scaling New Heights through the Women In Business Program

The Ghana Netherlands Business and Culture Council (GNBCC) has done it again. As a bridge between two vibrant nations, they have once again proven that when businesses from Ghana and the Netherlands come together, we don’t just network, we forge lasting partnerships that redefine what is possible.

The Ghana Netherlands Business and Culture Council (GNBCC) has done it again. As a bridge between two vibrant nations, they have once again proven that when businesses from Ghana and the Netherlands come together, we don’t just network, we forge lasting partnerships that redefine what is possible.

At the heart of my participation was a simple goal: to gain the insights and knowledge necessary to take my business to the next level. I am proud to say that the dedication paid off.

The journey culminated on February 13, 2026, with a grand closing ceremony at the plush Airport View Hotel.

The energy in the room was palpable, a mix of mentors and mentees buzzing with excitement. It was a proud moment to showcase our products and receive our certificates, marking the official end of the training but the beginning of a new chapter.

One of the highlights of the evening for me was hearing from my mentor, Fatima Almohamed. Her praise for my enthusiastic nature and her kind words naming me as her favorite mentee truly touched me. Having a mentor of her caliber validate my journey has given me even more confidence to lead with purpose.

At GNBCC, the mission is clear: to make business easy between Ghana and the Netherlands. By working closely with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (EKN) and other valued partners, they provide a nurturing environment for businesses like ours to thrive.

I am thrilled to have been part of this initiative. The certificates we held that night were more than just paper, they represented a commitment to excellence. I look forward to turning every bit of knowledge I gained into reality, driving our business forward with renewed energy and a global perspective.
