During peak seasons, she would sit by the roadside watching her harvest turn overripe because the market was flooded. With no choice, she often sold to aggressive middlemen for pennies, just to avoid going home empty‑handed.
When Koco D’Luv partnered with her, everything changed. We offered a locked‑in, fair price for her yield. That shift was life‑changing. With a secure, consistent buyer, she not only met her household needs but expanded her acreage and hired two young people from her community.

While we’ve sourced directly from farm gates a few times — mostly in the Eastern Region — our current model works through trusted suppliers and market queens. This ensures constant supply while still keeping farmers at the center of our value chain.
